New Blog Strategy

Greetings dear readers,

As you may have noticed, we, here in the hollow well, have attempted to release a small morsel of entertainment once a week or so. Our leader, upon reviewing the site recently, felt that the morsels were perhaps too small to allow the reader to immerse in the story and left a sense of dissatisfaction. Thus, we will be striving to adhere to a new directive wherein the novel is updated in larger chunks. Unfortunately, our organization is housed with amateurs who have commitments that extend beyond providing free entertainment for the general populace. Some work professionally, for example, while others have engagements that tie them up for extended periods (“tie up” being a misnomer, since generally we prefer heavy metal over rope here in the hollow well). Oh, no! We love to provide our small audience with free entertainment and will continue to do so, however, the releases will occur less frequently. At the same time, we find that we prefer the shorter chapters, so, likely, we will release a rash of novel chapters as separate posts at the same time. So, if you visit every so often, make sure that you browse back to the last post that you read. (Or use the links on the right side to follow the threads or the novel.)

This new format does not mean that the blog will become quiet for long periods. We are also going to try out a few more non-novel related ideas that will hopefully be entertaining enough to tempt you, dear readers, back again and again. We are fairly excited by some of the ideas we have cooked up. (Of course, we are paid to be excited by them, so, you know…)

Regardless, we will now continue and hope that you enjoy the works that you find here. Please feel free to comment or send email to hollow [dot] well [at] gmail [dot] com if you have grievances or suggestions.

Thanks,

hollow well staff
